Where Wellness Meets Peace Of Mind
As a single mom, raising 3 young men who were wondering “who am I and who do I want to be,” I made the decision to try to live a life they could model: showing by example how to set positive goals and boundaries that could allow them to grow up to be the men they were meant to be.
My personal journey became a kind of a house-cleaning: facing my truth, forging new paths and getting rid of the old beliefs that had never really worked for me.
Some of these beliefs have been hard to release, because they were things I couldn’t see, but I’m taking it one step at a time. The goal I’m aiming for is being able to look at myself in the mirror and say, This is Mine, today.
In my late teens, I earned my Associates Degree in business. I went on to study Occupational Therapy and I worked in the field for 20 years. In my early 40’s I survived a near fatal accident and I spent four long years learning to walk and talk and live again. During my recovery, I experienced first-hand the extraordinary things that can happen when an integrated pain recovery and mobility treatment program is designed to target a client’s unique issues.
I began to realize that I had a rare perspective on self-discovery and self-care. Like so many of us, I had wondered what I was really living for; and how and where I might find my sense of purpose. I went back to school to master a dozen traditional healing techniques that improve range of motion, restore energy balance and enhance pain recovery. Today, my Insights on Life book collection is available on Amazon and my private SuSanity clinic – Where Wellness Meets Peace of Mind – is providing curated wellness and integrated massage solutions for people who give their best to enrich us.
